Summary
My world fell apart.
I’d woken up inside a novel, as the tragic heroine in one of those grim, tearjerker stories.
You know the type. The heroine gets mentally and physically torn to shreds, suffers a miscarriage, has her eyes gouged out, a kidney stolen, and then, finally, dies a miserable death. Only then does the male lead realize she was innocent all along, and he’s left to drown in a lifetime of regret.
Seriously, this lawless world of yours can kiss my ass. I fell asleep seeing red, cursing them all under my breath.
