Summary
My son, Leo, was clinging to life in the hospital bed. He grasped his father’s hand and cried:
“Daddy, save me! I don’t want to die!”
My husband, David King, averted his gaze, claiming he just hadn't raised the twenty thousand dollars for the emergency surgery yet.
But the bank statement proved he had wired a full one hundred thousand dollars this past week to an account saved as "My Baby."
Confronted by his family, he tearfully confessed:
"She told me her daughter was kidnapped while studying abroad. I was just being charitable..."
