Summary
I was the only college student Providence Hollow had produced in a century.
My parents were dying of cancer, but to save every penny for my tuition, they refused to go to the hospital even once.
When my little brother accidentally bumped into the piggy bank my mom had been religiously filling for me, she beat him so severely he couldn't get out of bed for three days.
To scrape together my tuition fees, the entire town pooled their resources, emptying their life savings down to the last dime.
Everyone said I was the pride of Providence Hollow. Unmatched and deeply loved.
