The War God’s Tail Hunt

Summary

I was a Nine-Life Lynx, consort to the Celestial Realm's God of War.

In the third year after my death, he finally remembered me. He descended to the mortal world, intending to tear another tail from my body to save his childhood love.

The little girl I had once rescued was now an old woman, her hair a cascade of white. She told the God of War that I was already gone.

He just scoffed.

“If my memory serves, she has two lives left. If you’re going to lie to me, at least make it believable.”
