Summary
On the morning of my wedding day, I woke up at four o’clock, sitting in the quiet dark of my apartment, waiting for the styling crew and the bridal party’s convoy.
By seven, not a single soul had shown up.
A hollow panic settled in my chest. I dialed my lifelong friend, Edric.
The moment he picked up, a bright, breathless laugh spilled through the receiver.
"Adam, man, how are you always this oblivious?" Edric chuckled. "We scrapped the whole morning pick-up thing last night. Everyone’s already heading straight to the hotel."
