Summary
I’ve had a severe addiction to human connection for as long as I can remember.
Most newborns just lie in their cribs and cry, but by two weeks old, I was already babbling half the night away to the exhausted mother in the hospital bed next to ours.
When I was five, I wandered off at a crowded city plaza. By the time the police finally tracked me down, I was sitting dead center on a park bench, enthusiastically running a speed-dating circle for two dozen senior citizens.
By thirteen, I was being returned to the group home by my eleventh foster family.
