Summary
My wife, Chloe, didn't believe I was severely allergic to penicillin.
She purposely mixed it into my IV drip when I was sick at home, claiming I had been faking it for two years just for attention, and it was time to "cure" me.
By the time the IV finished, I broke out in severe hives. My throat began to close up.
I frantically grabbed my emergency allergy medication, only to pop the cap and find it entirely filled with breath mints.
"I threw all the pills away," Chloe said casually.
"Adam has low blood sugar. He needs to carry candy with him everywhere, and I didn't have another bottle."
