Summary
Outlaws raided our town while my husband, the Marshal, took all the men to escort Lily to a traveling show.
The mayor begged me to fetch him. I refused.
In my past life, I’d ridden pregnant through the ridge trail to drag him back, saving the town—but escaping outlaws caught Lily. They violated her and left her for the wolves.
