My stomach did far more than hurt, because in truth, it had already been corroded and rotted by those things, and I knew very well that I had vomited blood many times.

“You really have changed a lot. Looks like sending you there was the right choice!” Seeing my obedient appearance, Lydia sat beside me and sighed.

My body could not help trembling, because in the lab, they beat me every day and locked me in with pythons, simply to see the largest human body a python could swallow.

If they were even slightly dissatisfied, they would use electric shocks, wash my eyes with chili water, brand my chest with hot iron, or release killer bees to sting me until I passed out before resuscitating me.

Thinking of that made my heart tremble, so how could I dare not be obedient?

Perhaps because my attitude was terrified, and perhaps because Lydia had seen the blood in my vomit, she felt a trace of pity.

Her tone was no longer stiff, and she scolded me gently. “I sent you to learn manners, not to stop taking care of yourself. Look at you. You’ve even damaged your stomach!”

As she spoke, she reached out to cup my face.

But in my eyes, that movement was terrifying, and I was so scared I almost lost control of my bladder before immediately crawling on the floor and begging for mercy.

“I’m begging you, don’t hit me. I’ll be obedient from now on. I’ll listen to everything. Please don’t hit me again!”

At that moment, I was like a dog wagging its tail and begging for mercy, pleading for her forgiveness.

How could I still dare to covet my master?

When I was first sent to the lab, I had been warned that I was no longer allowed to covet Lydia, because she belonged to Felix Blackwood.

Back then, I was proud and stubborn, and relying on Lydia’s affection for me, I never bowed my head easily.

The first beating did not make me submit, and even after the second beating, I remained firm.

Then Lydia’s personal bodyguard injected a vial of liquid into my body, and my will collapsed instantly.

Under their endless variety of abuse, I completely fell and became a plaything.

How could someone like me still deserve to get close to Lydia?

Lydia’s outstretched hand froze in midair, and there was a trace of anger and confusion in her eyes.

She looked at me with questioning eyes.

A dog had no right to look its master in the eye.

I understood that deeply.

This time, she actually brought me to the company on her own initiative.

At that moment, the company was holding a product launch, and the employees lined up on both sides to welcome my arrival.

Felix was the first in line, standing at the very front.

With a warm smile, he handed me a bouquet.

“Bro, congrats on coming back!”

His smiling face made a chill run down my spine, and my legs shook uncontrollably.

I had seen that face too many times in the lab.

Every time he came, he brought many ways to torture me.

The people in the lab followed his ideas exactly and used those tortures on me.

They recorded my wails and filmed me being tortured until I screamed like a madman, then used the videos as conversation material when they were bored.

“Hmm, I don’t think this move is harsh enough!”

“How about roasting him with fire? Roast him until oil runs from his back, then sprinkle chili powder on him?”

“I think dead rats are good too. They should taste amazing.”

They discussed how to torture me next time without the slightest restraint...
