Now that XP will not longer be supported by Microsoft 😡 I am thinking on putting the Virtual Box back so I can do VB 6 programming there 🙄 Anyways does Paltalk work in it, cause I remember they stop it ❓Posted April 15, 2014 at 2:57 pm #64171AdministratorPosts: 1093
First of all, why would you want to program in VB6? Move on dude.
Second, what do you care what microsoft support or not, it’s not like it won’t work anymore. And as I recall the stopped support for XP many years ago, but they didn’t realy since a lot of people are still using it.Posted April 15, 2014 at 2:59 pm #64172
Actually I was thinking on making the programs like Greeter, Paster ect.. on VB.net but you know I’m a lazy asz umm so you think they will still support it even if they say they won’t ❓Posted April 15, 2014 at 6:01 pm #64174AdministratorPosts: 1093
What’s to support, it’s working just fine, all you need it is for VB6 then you don’t realy need all the security updates.Posted April 15, 2014 at 9:51 pm #64176
True 😆 I keep my old XP box up than 🙂Posted April 16, 2014 at 3:34 am #64180MemberPosts: 15
It works fine in virtual box as long as it is a “color” nickname. The black/basic nicknames will log in but will close in a minute or two and you get the Paltalk message box about “basic accounts aren’t supported in virtual machines”.
I read online that Microsoft is in talks now with European businesses to extend security updates thru 2016. I guess we will have to wait and see about personal users.Posted April 16, 2014 at 1:53 pm #64181
Ah so basically Paltalk just making another thing to make people buy color nicks I rather use my old 1992 computer before I buy one 😆Posted May 17, 2014 at 5:31 am #64515AdministratorPosts: 387
If you’re trying to go into the same room with the multiple nicks … it won’t work with Virtual Box.Posted May 18, 2014 at 11:15 pm #64518
Okay but it should work if I go with only one nick? cause I remember like a yr ago they stop all together
