I’m an old lady (48) who has a room on PT and part of its charm is the music playing in the background. However, since getting my new computer a couple of weeks ago with the Vista operating system, I’ve been SOL because Music Bot won’t work because Vista doesn’t have a complete SOUND MIXER anymore. Is there a work-around? Can I somehow install the mixer from my old XP? Please help me! rhia@drouillards.com
Actually the stereo mixer is still there….if you open the sound control panel and click on the recording tab, then right click inside there, you will see a BUNCH of mixers that are just disabled. Find the Stereo Mix one, and right click on it, and enable it. Once enables, make it the DEFAULT and you should be okay. More info located here
