Since i gonna be trying Linux soon i wanted to share this info I found on how to transfer firefox settings bookmarks ect.. from windows to linux 🙂
1. start Firefox, the close it. This will create a new directory .mozilla/firefox
2. copy all files from c:documents and settingsyour_user_nameApplication
DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles to .mozilla/firefox
3. run this command: Firefox -ProfileManager, then crate a new profile, with the directory
name of the newly copied one
4. start Firefox, with the profile as default, then you have everything migrated
5. One thing noticed, some plug-in may not working on 2.0, so uninstall them if required.
