yeap thats the key but guess what Admin i have worked out a way to do just that :O)
but i have’nt worked on it for ages and its done by using timers to refresh the userlist.
The way i did it was to get all the users from the room and added them to a listbox on my form then matching the nickname from text1 for example to the listbox box on the form i then know how many positions down the nick name is then after finding that i used that position on the paltalk userlist to hightlight the nickname …and there you have it text1.text will match the username in paltalk list ……. i think (hope) you understand what im saying
November 19, 2005 at 5:07 pm #183932AdminAdministratorThas exactrly what I being trying to find out lol, cause i got the code to get the nick to the list but I dont know how to highligh lets say the position of the nick on the list in the paltalk nick listview, man thas exactly it. lol hook me up plss lol

November 19, 2005 at 7:14 pm #183930AdminAdministratorah damn, lol will the find the nick through a text box or index number ❓
November 19, 2005 at 7:49 pm #183929DodyMemberI think it is for both, I might give it a try, and in anywy the name that you put in a text box can be converted, maybe you will have problem with CString, but that is not a hard work to convert (thinking c++ way)
if you think it is good to do it in this way, let me know, so I can try and make a c++ code for you, maybe it will be your first program in c++ 😉
