I have been looking for a website ripper that allows me to pause and resume at a later date and i finally found one and it works good. But here is the problem that i have:
You know how you download a file from a site and the link u click on is to a cgi thing it redirrects your downloader to where the actual file is? Well my Website Ripper downloads all the files in the cgi-bin folder but not the actual files that i want, the .exe .zip .rar. etc (and these files are in the folder that i would be redirrected to if i used my getright downloader). If i use my Get Right download manager and type in the actual location of the file i want it says.. “403= forbidden”.
I have another prog that works great with downloading these things its called “QuadSucker”, it literally sucks EVERYTHING OFF THE SITE, (even password protected pages) but the only problem is that i cannot resume it later…i would have to start all over again. That prog would be ideal for me if i could resume on another day.
Anyone know a prog that will rip all these files and allow me to resume it on a later date?
