for c++ programmers
you have to declare an external widget called qt5 to have access to classes and handles by calling apis
#include qt5win ( or QTwin ) not sure
still searching ……

main information to say is

Mask to be set to LVIF_STATE

state  to  LVIS_CHECKED

stateMask to LVIS_STATEIMAGEMASK

PostMessageA ListView, LVM_SETITEMSTATE,-1, LxprocLVITEM

i didn’t change my code for build 438 and still working for beta 450
my plateform is XP SP2
may be problem could come from this:
if win 7 try on desktop shortcut of your vb application right click and select xp compatibility

downloaded beta 450
OfficeActiveX reference disappeared in green rooms.
Code will consider them as blue and will work
